ILUKANDA – Flower Viewing Tour -
ILUKANDA – Mucuna Macrocarpa -
Mother Nature’s chandeliers, Ilukanda, are rare species in the legume family and can be seen only in Yanbaru. The name includes the meaning of COLOR (ILU) and VINE (KANDA) in Okinawan language, and as its name, the plants grow up as a vine and its mysterious purple color would stand out in the jungle.
Ilukanda is also famous for its unexplainable smell.
