Masahiro Awamori distillery located 15 minute south by car from the airport was found in 1883.You can watch the manufacturing process of Awamori and also learn the history of it. On the 2nd floor, there is a display of the collection of vintage Awamori including 50 years of age. Taste-testing of Awamori is also available along with your shopping on the 1st floor, where the video of manufacturing process is played (in English and Chinese). Ryukyu dresses are free to try on as well for your Okinawa experience.
