It is just not to forget the past.Kakazu Takadai Park is where the most lives were taken away during the Battle of Okinawa. Memorial monument for Japanese as well as Korean military people stands in the park today along with a vintage pillbox. From the top of the hill, you can observe panoramic view of Futenma US military base, Zanpa cape and Kerama islands.
