Daisekirinzan is located in the mountains at the very northern tip of the island of Okinawa.
There are four trekking courses provided.
①Strange and Big Rock Course ②Beautiful Sea Observatory Course ③Barrier Free Course ④Tropical Natural Forest Course
・This park is a part of the northernmost side of the tropical karst developed over 200 million years ago from limestone rocks.
・An ancient forest that lies in this northernmost Okinawa is called Yanbaru by the locals. Yanbaru forest fosters numerous kinds of species of flora including Banyan trees, fern etc.
・Ashimui is a sacred site consists of more than 40 worship sites for priests, priestesses as well as Ryukyu kings. If you look at these incredible rock formations, you will understand why the ancients considered Ashimui to be the home of their Gods.
